1. Get bound to a seller's shop
Sellers can invite creators to their shop directly. There is no follower minimum for that, which makes it the fastest TikTok-native start, but you can only promote that one shop, so pick a seller whose products you'd post anyway.
2. Grow to 1,000 with product content
Post the kind of video you'll post as an affiliate: product demos, "finds" lists, before and after where the product really delivers it. Formats that need no face: demo loop, POV text overlay, finds listicle. Hooks by niche: TikTok hook templates. Nobody can promise how long 1,000 followers takes; consistent posting in one niche is what the rules reward.
3. Brand affiliate programs
